The BMW 3 series  Fujita Cool Air Intake is traditionally longer and in most cases extended behind the bumper cover so that it can ingest more direct air. Depending on the complexity of the plenum route  the longer plenum achieves higher torque gains as well as impressive horsepower figures and more fresh air into system. Air/Fuel ratio are also an important factor in testing the Cool Air Intake, ensuring that safe and near factory levels are maintained in order to not trip any electronics sensors on the vehicle. the Fujita Cool Air Intake may come as a 1 piece or 2 piece intake system. Unique to the Fujita Air Intake Systems is the use of industrial-grade T-bolt clamps for securing the silicone hoses between the Fujita intake tube and the Fujita intake adaptor - the same stuff used for securing the pressure pipes on high-powered turbocharged motors. On certain applications.It has incorporated another unique feature into their intake system and that is the use of a built-in vortex generator to increase low and midrange power.
